Building Maintenance Facility Maintenance - University Park, IL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but not limited:
·                     Serves as an active member of the Holland Safety Action Team.  Participates in safety walks, safety meetings, and maintains safety action item logs.
·                     Performs a variety of general and light grounds keeping work in the care and maintenance of assigned buildings and facilities
·                     Make building repairs, as able
·                     Manage contractors performing work at the facility, obtains bids and presents to manager for approval
·                     Manage vendors
·                     Mechanical assembly and maintenance of all facility related equipment
·                     Flexible work schedule may include nights and weekends
·                     On Call, responds to after hour emergencies and works over as needed
·                     Maintain Security System and manager security access ID cards 
·                     Rebuilding machinery and small shop tools repairs
·                     Assist with snow removal and summer maintenance
·                     Maintains and manages all clocks, exterior lighting and timers
·                     Arranges furniture, tables and chairs for meetings and other events
·                     Maintain motorized equipment for the building and grounds
·                     Use of hand tools and power tools
·                     Forklift driver
·                     Utilization of Holland time management systems / IFS
·                     Utilize Holland’s NCR, OFI and Quality Control Processes
·                     Conform to all Safety, Quality and Housekeeping policies
·                     Performs related tasks and other duties/responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
·                     Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
·                     Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
·                     Ability to work in all weather conditions.
·                     Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
·                     Ability to climb in and out of floor pits and other work areas.
·                     Ability to travel via ground between buildings
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
·                     Exposure on a regular basis to mostly indoor and sometimes outdoor weather conditions.
·                     Could be working at off sight locations either inside or outside.
·                     Shop environment, dry conditions, heated shop, non-air conditioned.  
·                     All safety related gear and PPE provided.
·                     Fully lighted and secure facility. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·                    ·                     Must have High School diploma or equivalent
·                     Minimum 3 years Facility Maintenance experience 
·                     Knowledge of Industrial Power, plumbing, and HVAC
·                     General knowledge and experience of building & facility maintenance practices, supplies, and equipment and the
ability to use them economically.
·                     Ability to read equipment schematics
·                     Ability to diagnose electrical issues on equipment
·                     Power distribution experience
·                     Experience with 480, 240 and 120 volts.
·                     Basic computer skills.
·                     Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational and paperwork skills.
·                     Have good math skills and ability to work with measuring devises.
·                     Open minded and willingness develop and learn.
·                     Must be capable of understanding and following detailed instructions.
·                     Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
·                     Employee should be quality conscious and self-motivated.
·                     Must possess a valid driver’s license and abide by our Corporate Fleet Policy
·                     Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland L.P.
