Director of Product Marketing – Distribution; Sales/Procurement/Inventory 
Nextworld is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team. In this high-visibility role, this person will be working with our Marketing, Sales, Alliances, and Product Development teams to shape a clear and compelling voice for Nextworld’s products in our markets.  

As Director of Product Marketing, you will:
  • Actively maintain in-depth technical and functional Nextworld product knowledge 
  • Maintain awareness of relevant competitive products and technologies
  • Help develop and keep current product value propositions, the experiences that support them, and the product attributes that underpin these experiences 
  • Support the demand gen team by defining which experiences to highlight and the language to use
  • Work with marketing (creative and content) to bring the value proposition and product differentiators to life through explainer and demo videos
  • Work with marketing (communication) to write launch press releases to highlight key product features, market impact, and value props
  • Serve as a key spokesperson for Nextworld with media and analysts, doing demos and sharing product and GTM strategies
  • Own the launch checklist ensuring that all GTM teams and channels are in a state of internal and market readiness before new releases
  • Own the product demo systems and data needed for various target industries
  • Define and build the necessary sales enablement materials and programs for sales, pre-sales, and reseller partners
  • Meet with prospective customers, sales, and solution engineering for discovery of technical and functional requirements
  • Conduct market opportunity assessments to advise target market strategy
  • Communicate requirement gaps and roadmap requests with product development to align with industry targets
  • Coordinate product packaging and pricing initiatives with an eye towards competitive positioning and market differentiation
  • Report to the VP of Marketing
 

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • 10+ years of experience with Distribution (Sales/Procurement/Inventory) ERP, and 5+ years in a similar role in product marketing, product management, or solution engineering
  • Technical knowledge, including but not limited to ERP/SCM technologies, APIs, databases, workflow, no-code/low-code applications, user interface technologies, and applications 
  • Skills in presenting and demonstrating enterprise software
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to write, present, and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations
  • Track record of driving new initiatives; driving transformation and partnering closely with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate ambiguous or conflicting information into concise insights
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary, including frequently to Denver if remote
Starting salary range: Depending on experience.

Position located in Greenwood Village, CO; All applicants should be prepared to work three or more days onsite.
