Summary
Job Responsibilities and Functions:
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Managing the calendar and scheduling appointments
- Organizing and maintaining files
- Scanning and copying
- Maintaining supplies
- Using law firm software (MyCase/Clio)
- Maintaining your own time log in the systems as well
- Running necessary errands
- Client communication, including following up on client tasks and meetings
- Thank-you letters
- Meeting reminders
- Tracking referral sources
- Preparing legal documents
- Greeting and seating clients (every attorney in our office is expected to do this)
- Preparing and recording deeds
- Drafting estate planning documents
- Drafting probate documents and staying up to date on where clients are at in the process
- Notice to creditors and direct notices
- Follow up with a paper on publication notice
- Mailings to interested parties
- Billing - monthly
- Updating Trello

Experience:
- Experience in the legal field is a plus but not a requirement
- Knowledge of MyCase, Clio, Trello, and Hubspot
Requirements:
- Graduated law school
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Experience with Adobe software
- Ability to communicate well with clients and other co-workers
- Willingness to travel between locations when needed (Northglenn and Longmont)
- A sense of humor
- Love most animals, but especially dogs.
Additional Information:
Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary is $50,000/year with room for advancement. They also provide retirement plans, health insurance, PTO, dental/vision, and other benefits.

This position operates in an office environment.
Physical Demands
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal.

This is a full-time position. The person filling this position would work approximately forty to fifty hours per week or more.
Travel
Travel
Travel between offices (Northglenn and Longmont) will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
