Accounts Payable Coordinator - Crete, IL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Receive and validate invoices by matching with packing slips.
  • Obtain proper support and approval of Non-PO vendor invoices from field employees.
  • Review, and process PO and Non-PO vendor invoices.
  • Work with internal departments and vendors to Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with processing invoices.
  • Processing of online expense reports and upload information from Excel as needed.  
  • Ensure vendor W-9 information is up to date. 
  • Cross train with the other Accounts Payable desks and offer coverage when needed.
  • Process large excel based vendor invoices/upload into ERP system
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements
  • Ensure month end duties are executed in a timely manner
  • Represent the AP function for continuous improvement and efficiency projects
  • Assist with or handle special projects as requested
  • Perform other related work, as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties.
  • Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer.
  • Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries. 
 ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
  • Indoor office/home environment.
 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 2+ years Accounts Payable experience
  • Intermediate clerical skills
  • Strong Excel and MS Word skills.  
  • Proven experience with successfully multi-tasking
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Must be able to work well with others both within and outside the accounting department.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland, L.P.
