Marketing Specialist – eCommerce - Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid)

Job Description 
Working closely with the Channel Marketing Manager, you will act as the owner of all online content, balancing enthusiastic attention-to-detail with a creative marketing mind to promote our products across both brands and different product categories. The ideal candidate for this role has experience with marketing on eCommerce platforms like Amazon, and understands how descriptions, keywords, imagery, and advertising contribute to traffic and conversions. 
 
As a self-starter who is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, you will review, update, and maintain product listings, including images, descriptions, promotions and pricing, and any applicable enhanced content. You will also assist with new product launches to ensure setups are executed properly with partner agencies (via spreadsheet or online tools like Syndigo), update pages and brand stores to align with seasonal and ongoing marketing campaigns, coordinate with partner agencies on product sales reporting and promotions, and act as the project manager to document and follow-up on team meeting decisions and action items.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 
 
  • Work with the marketing team, sales account managers, and external partners to set up/launch new product pages and maintain and update existing product pages and brand stores. 
  • Help develop and implement seasonal campaigns and promotions across online platforms. 
  • Act as the liaison with the sales team and retail reps to explore opportunities and execute retail promotions that are consistent with overall marketing campaigns for specific online platforms and audiences. 
  • Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to create, proofread, and maintain consistent messaging and copy across online platforms. 
  • Document decisions and action items and ensure regular follow-up with marketing team meetings for updates on projects, timelines, and other relevant activities. 
Required Qualifications 
 
Education 
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or another closely related field 
 
Work Experience 
  • 2-3 years of eCommerce or digital marketing for a DTC/eCommerce company 
 
Knowledge and Skills 
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and tactics, including experience with digital advertising and SEM/SEO 
  • Experience with managing eCommerce platforms and tools, including Amazon Seller Central, Syndigo, and Google Analytics. 
  • Superior organizational and time management skills to prioritize projects/tasks, work independently and with multiple stakeholders, and consistently follow-up on next steps 
  • Proven ability to manage projects closely and ensure proper communication, collaboration, and alignment 
  • Effective working skills of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Project management and event management experience a plus
