Project Manager - Web Applications - Remote

Neon Rain is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the development and completion of small to large web application/software projects.
The Project Manager is responsible for interfacing with clients and being the liaison between the client and the development team. The Project Manager would be responsible for requirements gathering, organizing the project team’s activities and deliverables, ensuring all are completed on time and within budget and aligned with the client’s strategic business goals and expectations.
You must be a multi-tasker with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills and can effectively work with a team to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. This is a fully remote position.
What you’ll do
- Work with multiple clients and projects concurrently.
- Serve as the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and manage internal and external communications, including discovery, requirements gathering, kick-off, and regular status meetings.
- Develop a strong relationship with the client and provide insight and strategy
- Work with clients and internal team to determine business rules, processes, and workflow.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Serve as the key resource for project information and resolves problems or questions referred by internal and external sources.
- Create timelines and facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups for the delivery team.
- Responsible for budget tracking, profitability, and, financial reporting to avoid and/or resolve scope creep, budget overages, or efficiency issues.
- Create forecasts and allocate resources for current and upcoming project needs
- Utilize a project management system to interface with developers (currently Jira)
- Utilize a collaboration tool for client communication (currently Trello)
Need to have
- 2+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the execution and management of external-facing digital creative and technology projects
- Strong client management & relationship building skills
- Experience working with developers and designers
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High emotional intelligence
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, and Trello)
- Experience working with businesses in a variety of verticals
- Experience developing and documenting internal processes
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience working with a wide variety of technologies
- Agency experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
