Product Owner - Financials, Reporting & Budgets - Greenwood Village, CO

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
·         3+ years of experience working in finance with specific financial reporting and budgeting responsibilities 
·         Knowledge of management and regulatory reporting 
·         Knowledge of budgeting and budget revision processes
·         Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies preferred
·         Prior experience as a product owner is preferred but not required
·         Prior experience implementing financials solutions, particularly as part of an ERP implementation is a bonus
·         Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent

Specific Skills
·         Knowledge of the entire budgeting business processes
·         Working knowledge of financial report composition and distribution
·         Proven communication skills across various levels and roles in an organization 
·         Ability to consolidate market requirements, align to corporate objectives, and prioritize what is essential to support customers
·         Strong writing skills are essential in this role, especially when developing internal requirements documents, release notes and user documentation
 
Responsibilities
·         Manage and prioritize the product backlog to support the product strategy and company goals
·         Work in the product development process, which includes collaboration with peers to design the solution, document requirements for development, and providing timely feedback to developers 
·         Plan tasks for the development team to ensure they support the overall product roadmap
·         Work with other product families that impact or interact with financial solutions to ensure cross-module requirements are supported
·         Complete product release tasks including documentation, release notes, and knowledge transfer
·         Content creation and other support for marketing programs on an ad hoc basis

Salary range: $90,000 to $125,000 Depending on the level of experience

This position is located at the Nextworld headquarters in the Denver Tech Center. Applicants should be prepared to work in the office Tuesday-Thursday.
