  • Evaluate and negotiate supplier agreements for optimal performance, quality, and pricing
  • Lead sourcing efforts from vendor identification through vendor evaluation, selection and implementation
  • Demonstrate material savings by achieving targeted cost savings within area of management
  • Manage and improve supplier quality by finding and eliminating supplier root cause
  • Ensure project and customer deadlines are met to budget and delivery requirements
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally on new project development and/or high profit product
  • Maintain clear communications with internal customers and suppliers
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is regularly required for photocopying, filing and other record keeping duties
  • Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer
  • Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office-related injuries
  • Willingness to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots) as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically as well as Internationally via ground, air, and rail as necessary (up to 25%)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or like field preferred
  • 5+ years direct Purchasing and/or Supply Chain experience with both domestic and overseas procurement
  • Experienced in purchasing of electrical components 
  • Experienced with Project Management fundamentals and Project Management process flow
  • Financial acumen to develop sourcing financial models, including total cost of ownership models
  • Practical problem-solving approach to supply issues, business-minded, results-oriented, and a team player
  • Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve procurement problems
  • Exceptional vendor relations management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and Passport, and abide by our Corporate Fleet Policy
  • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland, L.P.
