Summary
Discovery Partners is seeking a Consultant Product Manager to work with a healthcare and wellness focused client. As part of the Product team, the Consultant Product Manager will play a core role connecting the users through consumer digital and social products. The selected candidate will work with cross functional teams to bring products to the market.
Job description
Position: Contractor (Contract to Hire)
Reports to: Executive Director, Product Management
Reports to: Executive Director, Product Management
Salary: 160,000 – 221,000 based on experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Make data-informed decisions to improve the quality and direction of products
- Translate needs and opportunities into clearly defined requirements
- Define integration specifications in connecting with EHRs
- Define abstraction tools for authenticating, invoking, and consuming the responses from external APIs
- Define key performance metrics for your features and closely analyze product
- Define new customer experiences that drive user adoption and usage, ensuring the product vision is crystalized and implemented effectively
Qualifications & Expectations
- 3-5 years of product management experience building consumer digital and social products
- Experience with healthcare data and interoperability standards (EDI, FHIR, HL7, etc.) and Electronic health Records systems
- Hands-on history of doing system integrations with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as SimplePractice,TherapyNotes,TheraNest, EPIC, AthenaHealth, etc.
- Experience working with Google Chrome extensions
- A self-starter and resourceful team player with strong communication skills that is comfortable working in ambiguous situations
- Technical proficiency demonstrated through technical degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience with data analysis, metrics, and goal-setting
- Critical problem solving
- Passion for mental health and for making a positive impact required
Working Conditions
This role can be remote with work hours within the Pacific Standard Time (PST) timezone. If located near Client’s office in Cardiff, CA, hybrid work with 3 days in the office per week will be required. Some company events and travel may be required for this position.
