Ascent CFO Solutions is looking for top-notch Senior Accountants to join our dynamic team of fractional financial professionals. You will serve as trusted advisors to our diverse portfolio of clients. Can you picture yourself as a Senior Accountant with our team?

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in public and/or private company accounting
  • Highly proficient in Quickbooks Online (QBO); experience with accounting software (NetSuite, etc) a plus
  • Tech-Savvy, comfortable learning new cloud tools
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Experience using payroll, expense reimbursement and bill pay systems (Gusto, etc)
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting
  • Working knowledge of preparing tax filings such as 1099s and sales tax forms
  • Passion for collaboration and providing excellent client service
  • As the majority of our clients are based in Colorado, residents or those planning to relocate will be considered first

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Month end close reconciliations
  • Financial reporting
  • Manage/track cash flow
  • A/P, A/R, P/R and GL closing
  • Rolling forecast and budget preparation
  • Client onboarding including Chart of Account (COA) and GL clean-up
  • Implementing system integration with Quickbooks Online (QBO) including bank, credit card and payroll systems

Compensation: $35-50/hour based on experience
